Reply to 50 reasons not to date a graphic designer

Saw this article in FACEBOOK link, I think I should have to feedback on behalf of graphic designer. Maybe you don't us well.

This is by no means a warning to AttentionWhore, or maybe this is – but after 8 months it may be too late, so…
(in bold my most representatives)

1. They are very weird people. ---->> Weird? Maybe too much curiosity? 
2. There are billions of them in the world, like colors on the screen of your computer. ---->> colorful, isn't it?
3. They will analyse conversations in layers. ---->> mean we are listening.
4. You will spend the day assembling furniture from IKEA. ---->> Isn't it amazing that some designer can create thing so beautiful and smart?
5. They drink and eat all kinds of weird shit just because they like the packaging. ---->> Because we curios and we want to find out the answer.
6. They hate each other. ---->> really? Only us?
7. You’ll come out the last out of the movies because you have to see the full list of credits. ---->> to know the heroes behind the screen, maybe one day our name is there~ 
8. They cant change a light bulb or without making a sketch. ---->> i don't think so...
9. They fuck up all the tables with their cutters. ---->> hmm... i think most of us use cutting map.
10. They rather study the paisley pattern on your outfit than listen to what you have to say. ---->> we listen and we observe. 
11. They will fill your house with magazines and whatever is out there that has drawings. ---->> that's fill up your time when you bored.
12. You never know if it is really an original or a copy. ---->> photo hunt game! free game to play, why not?
13. They make collages with your photos. ---->> others pay for us to make this.
14. They do not know how to add and subtract, they just understand letters. ---->> no .. no... no... we do calculation too, bleed size, text size etc
15. They idolize people who nobody knows and speak of them as if they were his colleagues. ---->> as we learn from them
16. They take pictures almost daily and all are cut in weird shapes. ---->> some client is the master behind it
17. They ask your opinion about everything but they do whatever they want. ---->> just survey... help to inspire us ... thanks~
18. Everything is left justified, right or center unless they arrive late. ---->> being professional, even if we late.
19. They hate Comic Sans with the same passion they love Helvetica. ---->> we call it san serif
20. They use iPhone for everything, because everyone has one. ---->> really?
21. You can not decorate the house without consulting them. ---->> free consultation to create you a better space, no?
22. They steal street signs. ---->> really?
23. Always carry their hands painted with something. ---->> hmm..sometimes
24. They buy dolls unfinished for them to paint. ---->> hmm...
25. Everything becomes something other than what it really is: cards as tickets, cards as … ---->> not really, maybe just to be specific sometimes.
26. When arguing, you will be nicknamed like the OSX spinning wheel (not affectionately) ---->> someone doesn't ... is creative too~ hehe
27. Do not know how to dress without consulting the Pantone book. ---->> i think pantone book already in our mind. 
28. They hate Excel. ---->> indeed
29. They read comics. ---->> to admire the hard work, the drawing skill... the master behind the nice drawing.
30. They want to save the world only with a poster. ---->> we hope to spread out the information as easier as possible. we hope to help.
31. You will spend the day brainstorming. ---->> yes, that's why our job is not easy. always thinking the easiest way for people to understand -.-
32. On vacation they will take you to countries that you do not know exist and have no beach. ---->> Isn't it nice to explore?
33. Museums are their second home. ---->> so many things that we don't know, not curios to find out?
34. They know more positions than the Kamasutra. ---->> maybe~ must be thanks the client demand on full imagination~
35. They can’t go to a restaurant without secretly critiquing the menu design. ---->> criticize is another way to learn... 
36. They listen to music you have never heard of. ---->> something new right?
37. They can´t cook a normal dish, they always have to experiment with new ingredients. ---->> we worried you get bored with the normal dishes, something new sometimes, good?
38. They read rare books: stories of children, Semiotics … ---->> um... refresh memory?
39. When you are going to tell you something, everyone has read it in their facebook and twitter.  ---->> hmm
40. They have own iPods before you knew they existed. ---->> so? only us?
41. The orgasm they remember is when they heard that Adobe was acquiring Macromedia. ---->> that's a workaholic
42. They have their own shops just for them and there are the most expensive in the city. ---->> must be very nice view and ambience
43. They want to spend all the money in the Apple Store. ---->> haha
44. You will never understand their gifts. ---->> try to understand, is sincerity from us.
45. They see ordinary objects and laugh. ---->> because we see more detail
46. You wake up in the middle of the night hearim them screaming “When is the deadline?” ---->> that's a workaholic
47. They see CMYK and RGB like Neo sees the Matrix. ---->> yep, it takes time to master it too. 
48. They dream of the day nobody will make a single change to their designs. ---->> YES!
49. They rather pay for a font than for a special birthday gift. ---->> not really~ maybe too busy in works
50. They are always sleepy because they work 24/7. ---->> yep our brain not stop thinking, don't you pity us? is tiring... :( but we are happy~

After the listening session, I immediately back home and do the online searching. 

As I know, I am not the only one. But wonder how other experience it.

I found out there are actually connected with vacation gateway in california, so I did the google search. Here are the cases happened;

Suspicion:

1. Founder in Singapore starting the business at 1997. Whereas the vacation getaway started at 2004. 

2. Founder in Singapore are 2 hotelier, who owned hotel in China & Thailand. But he never mentioned of who are they, no pictures showing them too. 

3. Office presentation is very poor. It look like the company that going to close down soon. Logo printed on paper and mount on wall. 

4. All the voucher that we received are the same number

5. They didn't proof themselves about their company. 

6. No instruction on how to redeem the package.

7. When I did the online searching of their name, mostly appear only their website, secondly is the article that mentioned about scam, fraud. 

Women, emotionally sex? Men, physically sex?

Do you agree with Women, emotionally sex? Men, physically sex?


I do agree with that. Many people told me, love... is only a passion when you know each other for the first 3 years. After all, it is only about relationship. After married, sex life is kind of difficult to maintenance it. 


Kid is the problem. Woman get tiring from work, after work taking care of kid. The energy spent through the day is extremely burst. After the whole tiring day, a comfy and quiet sleep that might she think of. What if the man is asking for romance? That's really a difficult situation and the man know that she is tiring... and he loves her and they just hug and sleep tight....


and well... day by day... what do you think such a situation can last long? When if a man is physically needs sex? Are the woman challenging on his passion, love or faith?


I don't think this is an good idea to take the risk. We don't clap with one hand. Think about it and find the solution.


If you think kid would be the problem, have a short romance gateway vacation. For only both of you. Put your kids out of your mind just for couple days, for your beloved.


If woman, if you think you are hard to get excited about sex. Start exercise today! It works! Detail


Buy some romance DVD, love story.. create a nice ambience for both of you. You could stay in a hotel to get away from kid. 


And last, while have sex session, please especially women, please throw away all your worries behind you. You should be relax and enjoy... ... Thinking too much will make yourself stress which is NO!

SOHO life for these 3 months

Start my own firm since 3 months ago, a SOHO life. I thought I could be boring and I thought I could be so lonely and maybe I could not learn anything.

Taking this step from working for people to self-employ is not easy. Although money is not everything,  but that the first thing that spinning in my mind. Hesitating.

Life is full with challenging, starting a business was something that I wish to achieve in my life, doing this decision was not planned when to start and it just happened to start to do it. Well, no regret.

In fact, I think it was amazing. I learn many things. Something that I could not learn by working for people. Everyday I talk with many people from all around the world. They knew something that I don't. So I learned. And I know, this path will lead me to somewhere else. It might tough but worth it.

I hate the man sleep just right after sex!! especially snoring...

I am really really hate this...

Making love should be such a romance thing to do... full with love... well, we all know the love, the passion may not last long. After years, all may turns to relationship... but this should not be the excuse of having a sex like having a meal.

If you going to do this, then I would suggest you to have lesser sex section but with a quality one.

We, women, totally will felt upset, annoying when the man that we love do this to us. We are not a tool, not something that you can throw to aside after you used it. Especially women, we are full of emotional nerves. So please do not do this to us. Is upset and not respect to us.

So, all the men, please do something. Please don't give excuses anymore cause we know that we must work on it, we need a solution.


If you really really tiring. At least do one thing, hugging your love one, rub her head gently, hold her and sleep in your arm. Simple as that, and enough.

Todays, I think many of us has really strong feeling of what had happened to Japan. We are sad for sure.. this is not a movie... and was so real so terrifying...  and we need to move on.

So what in your thought? There are billion people in the world.. we get to know each other, being close or being far... that's thing called fate bring us along. Do cherish it as you won't know when it last. My friend.
